For some time I wanted to watch 3D Avatar, but since it can 't take my daughter because she is only 4 years, but today I was able to go: it is the grandparents' house.
First a shock: the whole ticket costs $ 24.00 amazing! Almost gave up, but as I wanted to go, Marcela agreed.
D No Shopping, Shopping our favorite, had only a dubbed version and the Center Norte had the subtitled version, but for my happiness Marcela preferred the subtitled version. I prefer the original version always, even in Japanese or German as Spirited Away or Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. You lose a little of the essence of the film.
Arriving in North Shopping Center I remembered why we do not like so much there: no parking spaces! We walked around the park (which is quite large) and decided to return on Sunday afternoon, "unless Baba give us a wave when they go out," as the Marcela and as if by miracle, the first corner a car started to leave ...
We got line ... and exhausted! There was no more tickets to the 20:30 session, the last of the day. We were out of the queue when a man offered to sell the pair of tickets anywhere. He had bought over the Internet and would buy a 3rd time because a friend decided to go with them but run out. We buy, the value of the ticket even! Second sort of day.
We stay in a very good place and particularly found the film pretty cool. The picture is really impressive and the ecosystem of the planet is staggering. Disappoints a little focus and imperialist arms of the film. There is a diplomatic solution where one side gives in, only war where one side loses ... unfortunately.
We had watched "The Battle for Earth" a few weeks ago and it's amazing how the theme and storyline of both films is similar: humans invading another planet for natural resources, wiping out its population, the local peaceful and integrated with nature, living in a giant tree, struggling to survive.
There is no comparison between the visual graph Avatar with EARTH, but the solution found in the Earth is much more worthy of the Avatar.
